1. Introduction
Genzes ("we", "our", "us") operates the Genzes mobile application — a social platform
for sharing photos, reels, stories, messaging, and community features. This Privacy Policy
explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.
2. Information We Collect
- Account data: email, username, password (encrypted), full name, phone number (optional), date of birth, gender, bio, profile photo.
- Content you create: posts, reels, stories, comments, messages, group chats.
- Usage data: likes, follows, saves, notifications, Genzes coins, task progress, invite referrals.
- Device permissions: camera, microphone, and photo library — only when you use features that need them (upload, calls, save to gallery).
- Payment data: verification payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your card or UPI details.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Create and manage your account
- Display your profile, posts, and feed to other users
- Enable messaging, voice/video calls, and group features
- Process verification payments and reward coins/tasks
- Send notifications about activity on your account
- Improve app security and prevent abuse
4. Third-Party Services
We use trusted third parties to operate Genzes:
- Cloudinary — media storage (photos/videos)
- Razorpay — payment processing for verification
- Agora — voice and video calls
- Render / MongoDB Atlas — hosting and database
These providers process data only as needed to deliver their services.
5. Data Retention
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we permanently
remove your profile and associated content. Some payment records may be retained as required
by law for tax and fraud prevention.

Account Deletion page or use Settings → Delete account in the app.
6. Your Rights
You can:
- Update your profile in the app Settings
- Deactivate your account temporarily (Settings → Account active)
- Permanently delete your account and data
- Block other users and manage privacy settings in Privacy Centre
- Contact us with any privacy questions
7. Security
Passwords are encrypted. API access uses secure tokens. We use HTTPS for all communication
with our servers. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take
reasonable steps to protect your data.
8. Children's Privacy
Genzes is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
